Geocache Description:

Down a bridle way overlooking the village of Melplash

Melplash is a village in the West Dorset district of Dorset in South West England 3 miles to the north of the town of Bridport and south of the town of Beaminster on the A3066 road.
The construction of Christ's Church, Melplash between 1845 and 1846 was funded by James Bandinell (who was at one time secretary to William Wilberforce) in memory of his father. It was designed and built in Neo-Norman style.
There was once a flax industry in the village. An agricultural show is held nearby in August.

There is parking at the top of the hill at beginning of the bridleway.

This cache is a plastic box.
