Geocache Description:

Cache not on circle. This is a very busy circle in Welkom because town, locations and the industrial area sprout out from 6 exits. Near GZ there is a railway. Trains run frequently here transporting mine gravel to goldplants! Maybe the railway transport between GP and Welkom should be reinstalled to limit road accidents and less traffic that damages road surfaces?

Very small magnetic cache. BYOP Veer-ini-hoed (Barbara Oberholzer) suffered from Lymphoma Cancer for many years and passed away in 2011. Barbara did not allow life to get the better of her. Phenomenal lady with the spirit of an angel. Barbra was introduced to geocaching by Fanie and Annette Heymans, she then decided to place a geocache on every circle in Welkom before her live ends, and what an amazing job she has done! The caches were adopted by me in 2014. May the mark that Barbara left en”circle” us for years to come.
