Time: 10:00 a.m. to 10:15 a.m.
A flash mob is a
large group of people who assemble suddenly in a public place,
perform an unusual and pointless act for a brief time, then quickly
disperse.
This event is part of the 7th
biannual World Wide Flash Mob organized by podcacher, where
hundreds of similar events occur simultaneously worldwide. For this
flash mob and just for fun let's Freeze!
Here is the schedule:
(use your GPS clock if you have one, to be accurate)
9:45 AM - 9:59 AM
Participants wait patiently and/or stroll around the area.
As best as you can, act like a muggle
Pretend not to know each other or give any indication that
something is about to happen.
STAY AWAY from ground zero until the whistle is blown.
(A large cache will be placed at the time of the whistle)
10:00 AM - at the
whistle
Converge right at ground zero.
Log slips will be handed out.
Bring your own pen, pencil, or stamper.
Sign individual log slip and drop it into the Cache.
Next - turn to someone close by and Swap Swag and/or trade
trackables if you so choose.

AM
Group picture takes place.
Listen carefully and quickly follow all directions given by
photographer as to where to line up.
10:10
Drawing will be held for new Caching items. Your name can only be
drawn if you have submitted it into the cache.
10:13
AM
At this whistle, everyone freezes! Hold your pose for 30 seconds,
until you hear the whistle again. DON'T MOVE, giggle or talk!
At the whistle 30 seconds later you
may unfreeze.
10:14
One minute warning is announced:
"It is now 10:14. Prepare to leave!"
Organizers will seal up log container for transport.
10:15 AM

Everyone leave immediately!

After you leave the WWFM, swing by the coffee shop upstairs at
Borders in Gig Harbor. Meet your fellow cachers, have a hot
chocolate, laugh about the WWFM, exchange coins and bugs
etc!
