Cette place tient son nom du moulin de la dame Esmain qui utilisait les eaux du Crinchon formant un gué (wez). En 1954, y fut installée une halle à viande. Aujourd'hui, la statue du père Halluin y est érigée en mémoire de ce bienfaiteur des orphelins. Dans la cour de la CCI vous pourrez aller admirer les restes de l'ancien refuge urbain.

This square holds its name of the mill of the lady Esmain which used waters of Crinchon forming a ford ( wez ). In 1954, was settled there a market with meat. Today, the statue of father Halluin is set up in memory by this benefactor of the orphans there. In the court of the CCI you can go to admire the rests of the ancient urban refuge.
