Local info :

Join the family fun of canoeing and kayaking on the Scioto River in Circleville, Ohio. Take a trip down the Scioto like the Shawnee Indians who once inhabited this area. Also enjoy the historic Ohio-Erie Canal which runs parallel to this section of the river.
Enjoy a 4-mile adventure (approx. 1 1/2 hour) down the Scioto River which is a shallow Level 1 river, but no carrying of canoe is required. If rain causes the Scioto to be too high, use the Ohio-Erie Canal which is always "canoeable" (approx 3 1/2 mile trip).
