Circle # 22 St Helena Traditional Cache

Knagur Green:

It is sad to let this one go. It has history of an amazing woman, with a huge will to live. May her memory never be forgotten by those who knew her.

Sadly the current CO has not cached since 2015, logged on since July, nor responded to the request that the cache be replaced. Thus reluctantly to remove it from the listings it needs to be archived.

Geocache Description:

Park at co-ordts.
The name St Helena is the farm where the first gold was disvovered in 1947.

Veer-ini-hoed (Barbara Oberholzer) suffered from Lymphoma Cancer for many years and passed away in 2011. Barbara did not allow life to get the better of her. Phenomenal lady with the spirit of an angel. Barbra was introduced to geocaching by Fanie and Annette Heymans, she then decided to place a geocache on every circle in Welkom before her live ends, and what an amazing job she has done! The caches were adopted by me in 2014. May the mark that Barbara left en”circle” us for years to come.
