A gulch by any other name is a gully.

This is a beautiful secluded area. A shortcut from Howard to
Canisteo. If you take a tour around these hills, there is a good
chance you will see turkey, deer and some bear. I did. This could
be a difficult hide, but if you know me then probably not. No
decoys YET. But I fear there will be before long. Have fun!
