I denne cache serie er det ikke Pokémon du skal fange. I stedet er det forskellige Poké Balls, du skal på jagt efter. Hver cache i serien er nemlig malet som den Poké Ball, den er navngivet efter.

På din vej gennem serien vil du blive introduceret til alle de konsolspil, der er blevet udgivet gennem årene i den såkaldte hovedserie (der findes masser af spin-offs, men dem vil vi ikke beskæftige os med her).

De oprindelige Pokémon-spil var japanske RPG spil med et element af strategi, og blev udviklet til den originale Nintendo Game Boy. Disse rollespil, og deres efterfølgere, genudgivelser, og engelske oversættelser, betragtes stadig som Pokémon-spillenes "hovedserie", og er de spil, som de fleste fans af serien refererer til, når de bruger udtrykket "Pokémon-spil".

Da den nye Game Boy Advance kom på markedet, var det blevet tid for 3. Pokémon generation. Pokémon Ruby Version og Pokémon Sapphire Version foregik i en helt ny region, som var navngivet Hoenn. Endnu en gang var der tilføjet nye Pokémon - denne gang 135, så der nu var hele 386.

Med Game Boy Advance kom en betydeligt bedre grafik, hvilket naturligvis blev udnyttet i de nye spil. Den nye konsol bød på mange farver, som ikke var mulige i de tidligere spil, og sammen med den forbedrede skærmopløsning, var det for første gang muligt at nyde Pokémon og hele verdenen i fantastiske farver der svarede til de ”rigtige” Pokémon farver.

På trods af at Game Boy Advance kunne afvikle spil udviklet til den originale Game Boy og Game Boy Color, var spillene, til mange fans store fortrydelse, ikke bagud kompatible med de foregående generationer.

BEMÆRK På indersiden af logbogens bagside er noteret et delkoordinat, der skal benyttes til at finde Multi-cachen GC26VV8 Gotta Catch 'Em All #3 - Net Ball.

Cachen ligger på Næstved øvelsesterræn (kort kan findes nederst på denne side). Området hører under Lokalt Støtteelement Vordingborg, der har udstukket flg. retningslinier:

• Al kørsel (undtaget forsvarets) med motorkøretøjer på øvelsespladsen er forbudt.
• Når øvelsespladsen benyttes til øvelse, herunder med pansrede bæltekøretøjer, er al adgang (også til fods) strengt forbudt.
• Når øvelsesaktivitet ikke foregår, har offentligheden adgang til området til fods.

Ved de officielle indgange til øvelsespladsen findes opslag, der oplyser om hvornår pladsen er lukket for offentlighedens adgang. Denne kan ligeledes findes på DANILOGs hjemmeside (kan findes via denne søgning).

På området går der får, som er indhegnet af elektrisk hegn. Disse flyttes løbende, så fra tid til anden vil nogle af cacherne komme til at ligge inde bag hegnet. Efter aftale med fåreavleren er det i orden at gå ind til fårene, så længe man færdes under hensyntagen til dem.

Serien er underopdelt i fire delserier, der parvis hører sammen. Det anbefales at samle step 1 til GC26VVZ og GC26VW6 op på vej til den nordlige ende af øvelsespladsen, og derfra tage #1, #2, #4 og #3 i denne rækkefølge (husk at samle step 1 til GC26VW9 og GC26VWD op undervejs). Herefter har du fundet de nødvendige oplysninger til at finde de fire afsluttende multi-cacher.

In this cache series you're not supposed to catch Pokémon. Instead you're searching for different Poke Balls. Each cache container in the series is painted as the Poke Ball it's named after.

On your way through the series you will be introduced to all the console games that have been published over the years in the so-called main series (there are plenty of spin offs, which we shall not concern ourselves with here).

The original Pokémon games were Japanese RPGs with an element of strategy, and were developed for the original Nintende Game Boy. These role-playing games, and their sequels, remakes, and English language translations, are still considered the "main" Pokémon games, and the games which most fans of the series are referring to when they use the term "Pokémon games".

Following the release of the new Game Boy Advance, it was time for the 3rd Pokémon generation. Pokémon Ruby Version & Pokémon Sapphire Version took place in a completely new region, which was named Hoenn. Once again there were added new Pokémon - this time 135, bringing the total number to 386.

With Game Boy Advance came significantly better graphics, which of course was utilised in the new games. The new console offered many colors that were not possible in previous games, and together with the improved screen resolution, for the first time it was possible to enjoy Pokémon and the whole world in amazing colors corresponding to the "real" Pokémon colors.

Despite the fact that Game Boy Advance could run games designed for the original Game Boy and Game Boy Color the games was, to many fans great regret, not backward compatible with previous generations.

NOTE On the inside of the back of the log book is written a partial coordinate which should be used to find the multi-cache GC26VV8 Gotta Catch 'Em All #3 - Net Ball.

The cache is located in "Næstved øvelsesterræn" (map can be found at the bottom of this page). The area is managed by "Lokalt Støtteelement Vordingborg", which has set these guidelines:

• All traffic (except military), with motor vehicles on the drill site is prohibited.
• When the drill site is used for exercise, including armored tracked vehicles, all access (even on foot) is strictly prohibited.
• When exercise activity is not happening, the public has access to the area on foot.

At the official entrances to the drill site are notices informing you of when the area is closed to public access. This can also be found at the DANILOG website (can be found via this search). Regretfully, this information is only available in Danish.

In the area is sheeps surrounded by electric fences. These are moved continuously, so from time to time, some of the caches is going to lie behind the fence. In agreement with the sheep breeder it's okay to enter the enclosure, as long as you don't disturb the sheeps.

The series is subdivided into four parts which is then consolidated into pairs. It is recommended to pick up step 1 of GC26VVZ and GC26VW6 on the way to the northern end of the drill site, and then take #1, #2, #4 and #3 in this order (remember to pick up step 1 of GC26VW9 and GC26VWD along the way). This will provide the necessary information to find the final four multi-caches.
