Geocache Description:

Small reserve in in Beachhaven

This reserve commemerates Alan Tanner (1914-1988) for his outstanding service to the Beachhaven and Birkenhead communities. Unfortunately most of the view is now of the trees that have grown up infront of the harbour view (not that this will matter to the first finders, who most likely will do in the middle of the night - beware of the bank, you don't want to end up in the gorse!) 15/3/20 - I see that that the trees have been cut down, so there is a great view now. Street is narrow so not much room for parking - there is space for 1 vehical at S36 47.887 E174 40.971 FTF honours go to happykiwis
