Park next to the laundromat at the RV park, using the satellite map find the old road that will take you up to the forgotten stage. This is a small tupperware type container. Has log and some trade items. Very rough terrian and watch for snakes!
Riuns of an amphitheater that was built by the WPA in 1936. The stage area was used by bands for concerts. You can still see the long rock bench that circled behind the stage. Up and to the east is a old picinic area and cross. At one time the cross was visible from the hiway and the location was used for Easter sunrise services.
