Geocache Description:

This is a short Multi. It only requires some simple math and a short drive to find the cache.

You are standing in front of a flood marker for the Burdekin River and if you look at it you will understand why I chose a location a little further away to hide the cache.
Study it for a little while and imagine how much water there would have been at those times. To give you an idea have a look at the photos, they show the area in 2009.

The actual cache is a short drive from here, you will find it at:
S 19 59.ABC
E146 26.ADE

To get the right coordinates you will first have to do some math.

A = Find the year when the water was 14.55 meters high. Multiply the first and second digit, then subtract the fourth digit.

B = Find the year when the water was 14.40 meters high. Add the third and fourth digit, then multiply the result by the first digit.

C = Find the year when the water was 19.38 meters high. Subtract the forth from the second digit, then add the first digit.

D = Find the year when the water was 21.79 meters high. Add the second and third digit, then subtract the first and fourth digit.

E = Find the year when the water was 13.87 meters high. Add the first, third and fourth digit, then divide the result by two.

Number Check: C + E = A and C + D = B

Now that you have done all the calculations, you only need to substitude the letters in the coordinates with the numbers and you will be able to find GZ.
Driving across the bridge, look down at that peaceful little river below.

Cache is a 1.2l Sistema container.
At the time of placement it contained: logbook, stashnote, pen and some swap items.
There is a little compass as FTF prize.

Happy Hunting!
