Geocache Description:

In the dark days of the cold war a series of bunker/listening stations were manned by members of the Royal Observer Corp at locations all over Devon in the UK.
Little did we know as we listened to pirate radio stations in our beds during the 60's.
There is no need to enter the field where the bunker used to located.
The cache contains a log & pen plus room for small swaps

About this cold war bunker:-
Date opened June 1959
Date closed September 1991
Location On the north side of B3042
Description DEMOLISHED The only evidence of the post are two corner compound fence posts and an opening in the hedge where a gate would have been.at location 50°53.295'N, 3°45.235'W.
This can be seen some 300 feet along the road to the West.
