Il sentiero ha inizio a Genzano di Roma da via delle Piagge, alle spalle della chiesa dei Cappuccini, e diventa sterrato dopo i primi 600 metri. Più avanti, nei pressi di una ceppaia secolare di castagni, si può osservare un magnifico scorcio del lago e dei paesi di Nemi e Genzano. Nelle giornate più limpide si può persino vedere il mare fino al litorale pontino. Se si è fortunati, una volta addentrati nel bosco, si possono notare sul terreno le caratteristiche impronte dei cinghiali che frequentano le zone. Superata un'ampia radura il sentiero giunge nuovamente in un boschetto di castagni e dopo 600 metri si arriva a Fontan Tempesta. La difficoltà del terreno è 3 in quanto non ho specificato il parcheggio e il percorso può essere più o meno lungo.

The path starts from “Le Piagge” in Genzano, behind the Capuchins’ Church, and becomes a dug up way after 600 meters. Go ahead until you meet a century-old chestnut tree stump and you can admire a gorgeous panoramic view of Nemi and Genzano. On very clear days you can even see the Pontine coastline. Once penetrated into the forest, If you’re lucky, you could observe on the ground the typical footprints of wild pigs living in this zone. After a wide clearing, the path will lead you again in a chestnut tree wood and finally you’ll reach “Fontan Tempesta”.
