Geocache Description:

I have driven by this place many times and have wanted to put a cache here and had time to today. Actually, I thought I better do it before sfc72335 beat me to it.

Mt. Vernon Cemetery is the oldest active cemetery in St. Francis County. It began about 1854 as a family cemetery by the Mallorys, whose home was a short distance north. Immediately north was the early town of Mt. Vernon. Later other families were permitted to use the Cemetery. Descendants of the original family are active in the management of the Cemetery today.

As usual bring our own writing utensil to log the cache. You are looking for a camouflaged pill bottle hidden in the usual fashion. Please replace the cache exactly as you found it for others to enjoy. It is not necessary to go inside any fences to find this cache and please be respectful and remember where you are hunting.

Have Fun and Happy Caching!!!!!

Congrats to sfc72335 on the FTF!!!!!
