This park is in the Pine Forest above Esperanza (which translates to "Hope" in english) and I rather like the name. I placed a small cache here because it occured to me that the Tinerfinians have turned history in on itself and created something really positive from an area with a Very Negative Association...... Well Done!!
A Great place for "Balmy day Picnics". There are plenty of bench and Table combinations, Barbecue Hearths, Infants Area, Toilets and Running Water. There is even firewood for the Barbecues.
It is open most days from 9am til 7pm or 9pm in the summer. You can drive in and there is good parking. You can spend a pleasurable time here and at the same time you can walk up the incline and contemplate "Franco's Monument" which will be pulled down soon by the Local Government. There is a cache there that I have adopted from "MundoReal", about 500 meters distant.(see above)
There are plenty of trails for hiking and cycling and generally enjoying.
Because of sporadic GPS coverage , you will need the spoiler foto !!! Also there is NO PEN so please take one with you. If you go at the Weekend...there will be lots of Muggles!
