Geocache Description:


There was another one railway between Tachikawa Station and Haijima Station before. It is an Itsukaichi railway. A lot of people call the railway "GOTETSU".
It was stopped as the nonessential line between Tachikawa and Haijima that went side by side with Ome line in the war, and it did not revive after the war.
Cache was set up in the GOTETSU abolished line trace.

かつて、立川駅-拝島駅間にはもう一つ鉄道がありました。それは、五日市鉄道。多くの人は、「五鉄」と呼びます。
戦争のため、青梅線と並行する立川 - 拝島間は不要不急線として休止され、戦後復活することはありませんでした。
cacheは、その五鉄廃線跡(武蔵福島駅付近）に置かれています。
周辺は現在住宅が立ち並んでいます、注意してください。
