Geocache Description:


The Moorehead House was built by JA Lytle in 1883. Dr. Giles C Moorehead, Ida Grove's medical doctor and son of pioneer Judge John H Moorehead, purchased the house on July 6, 1895 and lived here until 1944.

The Ida County Historical Society now oversee the property and tours are available by appointment and the host special open houses on occasions.
