This is intended to be a quick dash and grab cache to view the traffic passing on the Three Towns Bypass. The three towns being Ardrossan, Saltcoats and Stevenston. You will require to bring your own pen/pencil.
PLEASE NOTE YOU CAN NOT GET TO THIS ONE FROM THE DUAL CARRIAGEWAY.
The bypass was officially opened in December 2004 at a cost of £26million. Work began in August 2003 and covered 6.4km of road. Four major bridges were built, three of which carry side roads over the bypass and one for rail. The road, A78, stretches from the existing A78 at the Pennyburn roundabout to the Chapelhill roundabout at the top of Ardrossan, and then downhill to the seafront at the Montfode roundabout,
