Lots of things are ambiguous. There is the obvious and the hidden. The one you see and the one which flashes into your mind days, months, sometimes years later. Things which make no sense the moment you see them but are essential in another time, another place, another live.
The obvious is that this is just another traditional Forrest Park Cache. Not the usual ammo box but a paperback sized well sealed plastic container. You will experience the usual bouncing GPS signal which makes so many Forrest Park Caches a challenge. The location was taken a couple of weeks ago with no foliage so it should be fairly accurate but with canopy closed from May to October you may encounter surprising sideways flashes. Well reachable if you find the right access (official path). It’s not on the beaten path but you won’t get lost in the deep canyons either. It’s well covered but not buried so please place it back exactly as found. A well balanced cache. Nice hike, nice search and another find on the score.
And yet there are those numbers. Numbers which you might need to punch into a piece of equipment years from now to save the world (sorry I might got carried away while watching too much of a popular TV show). Numbers which will help you to make that one targeted grab. And then imagine that stranger desperately hunting down his numbers and you, you alone are the one with the key to happiness.
