Das Goldenstedter Moor liegt am nordwestlichen Rand des Naturraums Diepholzer Moorniederung, einem der größten zusammenhängenden Moorgebiete Deutschlands, das durch mehrere Hoch- und Niedermoore gekennzeichnet ist.
Im Naturschutzgebiet Goldenstedter Moor befinden sich Moorflächen in unterschiedlichen Entwicklungsphasen. Etwa 2/3 der Flächen sind bereits "wiedervernässt" und werden "renaturiert", d.h. sie werden nach Beendigung des Torfabbaus der Natur zurückgegeben.
Hier sind auch einige der ältesten Renaturierungsflächen Deutschlands zu sehen. Durch viele Naturschutzmaßnahmen konnten sich bereits zahlreiche moortypische Tier- und Pflanzenarten wieder ansiedeln.
Mehr und mehr nutzen auch Kraniche und andere Zugvögel die Wiedervernässungsflächen als Rast- und Ruheplatz.

VortOrt könnt Ihr einen 800m langen Moorerlebnispfad entlang gehen und euch über die Tier- und Pflanzenwelt informieren.
Bei schönem Wetter lädt der Barfußpfad noch zu einem Moorbad ein.

Auf einer 1,5 ha großen Fläche wurde eine Obstwiese mit über 90 hochstämmigen Obstbäumen angepflanzt.
Dort befinden sich ca. 40 verschiedene lokale und regionale Apfel-, Birnen- und Pflaumensorten.
Zu jeder Sorte gibt eine Informationstafel Auskunft über Reife, Eignung und Herkunft. Weitere Spiel-, Lern- und Beobachtungsstationen machen den Spaziergang über die Obstwiese zu einem Erlebnis.






Um diesen Earthcache zu loggen, musst Du vorher folgende Fragen beantworten, bzw. Aufgabe erfüllen.


1) Welche fleischfressende Pflanze ist auf einer der Infotafeln abgebildet?

2) Wie hoch ist der Wassergehalt von intakten Hochmooren?

3) Um welche Tiere geht es in der Ausstellung auf dem Aussichtsturm?

Hier war einmal eine Bienenaustellung im Turm.
4) Welche Farbe hat der abgebildete Frosch auf der Infotafel "Tiere im Hochmoor"?

5) Mache von Dir oder Deinem GPS ein Foto an den unten angegebenen Koordinaten (N52° 43.581 E8° 23.482) und füge es deinem Log hinzu.



Sende die vier Antworten in folgender Form an die eMail Adresse wie im Beispiel, jedoch mit Deinen Antworten und schreibe in die Betreffzeile einfach Deinen Cachernamen. Wenn Du alles richtig beantwortest hast wirst Du automatisch die Logfreigabe erhalten.

The Goldenstedter Moor is situated on the northwest edge of the natural ecosystem Diepholzer Moorniederung, one of the largest contiguous bogs of Germany, which is characterized by several high-and fens. The reserve is Goldenstedter Moor moorland are at different stages of development. Approximately 2 / 3 of the space is already "rewetted" and "renatured", which means they are returned after the end of peat extraction in nature. Here some of the oldest restoration sites in Germany can be seen. Because many conservation measures were already settling several mire types of animals and plants again. More and more, also use cranes and other migratory birds, the peat grasslands as resting place.

On location you can walk along a 800m long adventure trail and inform you about the flora and fauna. In fine weather is still one of the barefoot to a mud bath.

On a 1.5 hectare site with an orchard of fruit trees were planted 90 tall. There are about 40 different local and regional apple, pear and plum varieties. For each variety is an information panel information on maturity, suitability and origin. More games, learning and observation stations make the walk across the orchard experience.

2) How high is the water content of intact bog?

3) What kind of animal is in the exhibition on the lookout?

4) What color is the frog pictured on the information board 'Animals in the moor?

5) Do you or your GPS from one photo to the specified coordinates and add it to your log.


Send the four answers in the form to the address of someone as in the example, but with your answers and write in the subject line of your Cachernamen easy. If you have everything correctly answering you will automatically receive the log release.
