Geocaching

This cache is our tribute to one our best geobuddies, Shopcat. Sadly, she passed away in May of 2016 and we will miss her forever. We had known her for several years and always looked forward to caching with her. We have been caching with her at events and even in Casper when we are there visiting our son and his wife. She was a dedicated geocacher and somebody who brightened our day when she was around. She was slightly vertically challenged but she made up for that by carrying her bucket with her so she could use it to get to those 'higher' caches.

This cache is located at a turn-out on Highway 220. It just seemed like this spot really needed a cache so we placed it here on one of our trips to Casper. There is a possibility that there may be muggles present so use the usual stealth. This area abounds with history so ponder what this country was like years ago when the settlers were traveling through.
