Geocache Description:

Located in the Palomita Preserve of the Land Conservancy of West Michigan.

Should be a relatively easy walk on a nice little trail. You're looking for a small lock and lock located a little ways off the main trail. Please make this a daytime only cache as the nearby homes might not like flashlights so close to their backyards.

An overlook along the Grand Haven Township boardwalk provides excellent views of the diverse wetlands, waterfowl, water-lilies, and surrounding hardwoods and pines along Little Pigeon Creek. A footpath loops through the forest on the south side. Highlights include migratory raptors, shorebirds, ducks, and songbirds. Flocks of passenger pigeons once roosted here.

Parking is along Lakeshore Drive and is a bit of a challenge so use your best judgement.
