Geocache Description:

This cache is on private property with the permission of the owners. NO night caching please!

Right now there is a big crop of beans to wade through but the bushwhacking will be worth it, and that's directly from the property owner!

You can pull off the road and park right next to the farm field, just about 100 meters NW of the cache.

Carol and I are from Illinois, and we placed this cache while staying at the Jordan House Bed and Breakfast on our recent 12 day caching trip that took us to Indiana, Michigan, and Ontario.

John and Barbara Jordan were our kind hosts during our stay in the Chatham area. We taught John some geocaching basics, and even took him out to find his first cache! So, now that we have a couple of new international friends, we thought it would be fun to place a special cache to celebrate!

Carol and I leave a seed cache whenever we find a cache that's big enough to hold one. The seed caches are little vials that contain a log and pencil, so anyone can pick one up to hide as a new cache. The cache you're hunting is FULL of dozens of our little seeds. Please take one or two, hide them, and publish them as new caches. It's ok to leave something in trade, but not necessary. John (the property owner) will be maintaining the cache, and he'll restock it when it gets low on seeds.

John and Barbara would love to have you visit! If you're lucky, you'll be greeted by a couple of very friendly cats during your hunt.

Good luck from Illinois with this easy cache!
