Remote Parking Traditional Cache

The area has been "remodeled" a bit with a lot of brush cleared, tree limbs....and the cache.

You will find this cache with parking nearby. A little twist on a widely used technique. You may need to use your stealth skills at certain times of the day, but this parking area is a bit remote. No need to venture near the tracks...ever ! You may see or hear train traffic as two different sets of tracks cross each other at different grades with a trestle nearby. I felt this was a remote area and a nice spot for a cache. Note: One cacher was asked to leave by a security guard close to 11pm. Please use stealth while hunting this cache. Update: As of 8-24-2020...The area has lost it's innocence, the picnic table is gone because the tree has gotten so large, it has taken over a wide swath of grass. The parking is much less remote than it was in 2010. If you had been at these coordinates while the Navy Base was operating, you would have been amongst an array of runway lights and prairie grass while also trespassing on government property. I replaced the container and changed the size from micro to small. You are still searching for something uniquely remote in itself. I hope you enjoy the cache.
Update ...jump ahead 3 years to 8-21-2023 and human activity is too common now for the container to survive here.
I'm sure the area is used for smoking, dumping and other things. I MOVED THE CACHE to a better location. There used to be a decoy in the lamp post skirt, but that became overrun by bees. And too many cachers mistook that for an easy find and moved on without finding the real cache. So no decoy here....just a remote cache. It only a few steps from your car. No need to venture down into the gully. I like people to enjoy, not curse our cache.
