I first learned of this
area while hunting down the Canoe Launch geocaches. Since then this
area has become one of my favorite places to ride my mountain bike.
There are trails all throughout the area of which are great for
walking or riding. I found this location while riding this south
trail along the river from the Canoe Launch parking area. There are
some great views from the trails, and this spot is one of them. You
are looking for a 30 cal ammo box. Please cover the cache when you
are done.
You can park at the Canoe Launch and either
enjoy a nice stroll along the river walking/biking path that
meanders through the woods or simply use the gravel path along the
dike.
