Geocache Description:

This is an ammo box as of 10-11-15. It is on a dead-end road . At the cache, the best I could get was 3-6 feet, sometimes worse. Parking is very close. Put in some loose bags-cachers can always use spares to help others out. Take as needed. Also added some rechargeable batteries. Good for clocks & such. Use as soon as they come off the charger-these don't hold a charge very long in storage.

John Wayne (1907-1979) is probably the first name you think of when you think of a western actor. He was born Marion Morrison in Winterset, Iowa. His nickname was "Duke". Seems that he had an airedale terrier that he never went anywhere without. Its name was "Duke". A fireman on his route to school started calling him "Little Duke". He liked Duke better than his name so the name stuck (sound familiar Indiana Jones?). Some of the westerns he was in were Stagecoach--She Wore a Yellow Ribbon--The Searchers--The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance--True Grit--McLintock--Rooster Cogburn--and his last film-The Shootist. A reply he made in The Searchers (That'll be the day) inspired Buddy Holley to write a song with that title. Congrats to DMflyer for FTF
