Brief: Short bush walk. When you get to the area of the short boardwalk/bridge, pay attention to the trees. Due to tree cover co-ordinates are plus/minus around 6 metres. You are looking for a green camoed Sistema and will likely need the hints. Remember to look for the other cache GCCXJA Lake Mahinapua!!!
Lake Mahinapua is a beautiful scenic picnic & camping spot just south of Hokitika. It is popular for sailing & canoeing, and can be quite busy during the summer.
There is a wonderful tree-lined road to drive in on, and three different short walking tracks to explore in the immediate area, with other longer options near-by.
Enjoy the sound of the birds and distant roar of the sea as you take the basicaly flat 10 minute walk around the Bellbird Walk, at the far corner of the camping area, to find this cache.
