This can be a short walk or a long walk, it depends on what you drive/ride.
The cache is down the the end of the Pine Plantation along Waikouaiti Beach.
If you take the beach option it's about a 1.8km walk.
Or you can find the right road, then track you can get close.
Dual/Sport Motor Bike or 4WD within 50m and that depends on the what the estuary is like water wise ( Your Call )
2WD car you can drive to within about 1Km of the cache might be safe to drive a bit more. ( But That's Your Call )
Not sure if the tide has much effect here, time will tell as cachers come and go and say what option they used. from the safe parking option by the pine trees it's only a 5min walk. but of course that depends on how wet the track in is.
The cache is a 880ml container with log book pen and a few swaps.
