Geocache Description:

*** After over five years I've decided to discontinue placing swaps in this cache. Some kids who had found the cache were regularly stealing some very good swaps and leaving the cache in position for more. Their last log in the logbook was October last year and none since I moved it, but all the swaps placed there since the move have also now gone. So, not as exciting a cache for kiddies anymore, but still a good spot for them to search for a cache. PLEASE ENSURE THE CACHE IS WELL HIDDEN WHEN YOU LEAVE. Below are the cache notes as they originally appeared ***

When we first started caching a few months ago there had been another cache in a more exposed area of Buttenshaw Park. On our first day of caching we went to find it but couldn't, and later discovered it had been muggled. Given that some of my other caches are for grown ups, I thought it might be good to have a cache back in this area that the kids can do.

Bring a frisbee, a ball, a picnic lunch and ... oh, yeah, your kid. There's a children's playground, tennis courts and even a swimming centre close by.

Given the amount of traffic this area gets, it's essential you place the cache back as you found it. It shouldn't be visible.

This shouldn't be too hard to find, but there might be just a couple of places to check . A grown up might need to help retrieve the cache, although there is nothing dangerous or physically demanding here.

Please rehide the cache properly. It should not be visible once rehidden.

I've put in a few trades that I hope children might like. If you want to trade, great, or if you have no trades but your young one wants to select something, just let me know what you took so I can keep the cache stocked.

Let them get dirty!
