Part of a five stage series along the Tame Valley Way. Well defined grass path alongside the river, this can get quite wet and muddy in the winter. All caches in this series are within a few feet of the path and not too close to the river.
Our first series and it is set in a quite picturesque and reasonably quiet area of Birmingham.
The trail starts near the play area in the park at the bottom of Hamstead Hill. There is a car park close to the first cache.
The whole trail is about a mile and a half long and follows the Tame Valley Way alongside the river. All of the caches contain a log book and plenty of swaps, all caches are in containers placed within camouflaged bags.
This series links in well with the Hidden Gem series and the Valley series at Sandwell valley.
Easily accessible from the number 16 bus stop Beauchamp Avenue or from Hamstead Station on the Birmingham to Walsall line.
Small plastic container in camo bag
