Tahaki Reserve, Mt Eden, Auckland
A nice easy cache in the Tahaki Reserve on north side of the Mt Eden / Maungawhau Reserve in Auckland. Can be visited while you're having a relaxing time with the kids in the nearby playground or walking in pleasant bush surroundings around the Tahaki Crater. Nearby , about 1/3 the way up the summit road to Mt eden Summit is Langtons Kiosk and across Clive Road is the Auckland Grammar Hockey and Rugby Fields. There is also flying fox in the reserve. Tahaki Reserve, one of Auckland's well known parks, is a major entertainment venue with a stage. Cache is a small sized (about 200ml) sistema container with logbook , pencil and some small swappable items. Stealth is needed at times as this can be a popular venue. Cache is well covered, please re-seal logbook, cover up and leave as you found it!!
