A quick cache located in the lower Meadow beside the river Bourne.
This used to be the site of the old Basted paper mill and all that remains now is the millpond.
There are woodland walks and a picnic area if you wish to extend your stay. Parking is available nearby.
If doing all the Basted caches, turn left after crossing at the "Basted Mill" cache to do "Basted Mill 0" and "Basted Mill 1" before retracing your steps to "Basted Mill" and heading off in the other direction for 2 and 3. After "Basted Mill 3", keep walking in the same direction (away from the other caches) and the footpath will come out by the road, turn right along the road for a short distance and follow your gps along the uphill footpath for the picnic...
