Geocache Description:

Small water-tight box containing 2 travel bugs and additional trade items. Hidden along the trail to Triple Falls in Dupont near Brevard, NC. This is a great place where the water is calm and the terrain is flat. A great place to picnic with kids and dogs.

Park at Triple Falls/Hooker Falls access area in Dupont. Cross the road to access Triple Falls trail. When you come a labeled juncture in the trail (marked with a sign that says Triple Falls viewing area to the right) go left down to the water. Continue to walk along the water until you come to the cache area. It is carefully hidden near some trees beside the water. After finding the cache I would recommend you continue to the base of the falls (you can see it from the cache spot). It makes a great afternoon outing. Terrain remains flat but you will have to walk on some rocks.
