WWFM VII - Come to South Charlotte for a great time to celebrate Geocaching's 10th birthday!
Come join us and celebrate the birthday of Geocaching at my first WWFM Event! WWFM (World Wide Flash Mob) is an event that will take place at various locations all over the world at the same precise time and the event only lasts exactly 15 minutes!
I've not been to this type of event before but it sounds really fun!
The Event Schedule will go as follows:
12:50 pm - Attendees should arrive and locate the coordinates for the event (Do not congregate or begin talking with anyone else until exactly 1:00 pm, just wander the area and enjoy the scenery until you see the cake & presents!)
1:00 pm - Everyone will gather together and there will be birthday cake, presents and a "log" to sign.
1:05 pm - There will be two drawings from the names in the "log", one for the Event FTF present and the second for the Geocaching Birthday Present
1:10 pm - We'll take a group photo of everyone attending
1:15 pm - Everyone disperses from the location as quickly as they gathered!
The WWFM is a pretty quick-moving type of event and not much time for socializing, but anyone who wants to stay on afterwards and enjoy the afternoon at the park and socialize with your fellow geocachers is welcome to do so! We look forward to seeing all of our geocaching friends and meeting those of you whom we've not had the pleasure of meeting yet out on the trails! And, as always, come prepared to CACHE! This park has several geocaches hidden here and there! (Cache owners may want to make sure their cache's are well-stocked and plenty of room in the log book!)
