Santa Fe Plaza Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

bob8bear: Four finds since we replaced it last, so obviously someone is on to this location. We had a good run, but it is now time to say Good Bye, and Thanks for Visiting. We will keep looking for a new location with less traffic.

Geocache Description:

Thump the host on the palm of your hand to remove the bison tube from the host. Be careful to replace it as you found it so it will stay in place and not be muggled. NOTE: The ring on the bison goes in first.

Cache is located under the electrical box on the North East corner of the plaza. This is a very high foot traffic area with lots of muggles. Sometimes it may be necessary to just leave and come back later. The cache is about 3 feet above ground level. It will be best if you remove the cache and then step away to sign the log.

The Plaza denotes the end of the Santa Fe Trail, some 900 miles from Franklin, Missouri. There are several other historical monuments and plaques around the plaza area. Be sure you stop to visit these sites and learn more about the history of the area.
