The Blair Witch Chimney cache has been resurrected.
Placed with permission from the Water Bureau of the City of Gresham, who owns Grant Butte.
This message is from the Gresham Water Bureau. Please obey the No Trespassing signs around the reservoir. They are there to keep you away from the tank, the grassy area around the tank, and to prevent any motorized vehicles on the butte. So STAY AWAY from getting too close to the reservoir!!
If you want to see the Blair Witch chimney, walk in up the embankment trail west of the tank. If you disobey, you could end up in jail, or fined, or both, if the Blair Witch doesn't get you first.
Parking and access onto the trail is from the end of NW 3rd ave.
Near the coordinates of RoyBatty's now archived cache, this is one eerie and spooky place to visit. Is Grant Butte really haunted? Read the link above.
There are oceans of stinging nettles, probably poison oak, maybe homeless persons lurking about...and the Blair Witch.
Look for the chimney and the creepy traps the Witch has set for unsuspecting hikers. You are getting near.
There is evil coordinate bounce. Please don't give out waypoints for the secondary trail in, everyone must find that out for themselves. Getting out is another matter...if you can.
For the FTF is an unactivated tb and a new and improved glass blue moth. Cool grown up swag for the rest. Trade even please.
