Overlooking a sometimes wet waterfall, about 70Kms west of Riyadh.
A pleasant place for a picnic during the cooler months.
A short, relatively easy off road drive will get you to the area of the cache.
Leave Riyadh, heading west on Route 40 (Makkah highway) and turn off at Junction 6 (also marked 895) turn left over the bridge and then right at the end of the bridge onto a track which will take you onto a tarmac service road, Follow this road to the "pink petrol station" and turn left just before it onto a tarmac road. Follow this road for about 8.9Kms until you see a gravel track on your left. Turn onto the gravel track which takes you past the lake boundary markers to the area of the waterfall - this track is mostly flat but does have some rough spots which makes it unsuitable for saloon cars.
The cache box is a small, white plastic box with some tradables.
MAY 2010 - we have added some photgraphs, kindly sent to us by mhfares, of the waterfall after some heavy rains in early May 2010.
