Quick, steep hike to an historic marker.
This marker is a pile of stones on a remote hillside that local lore claims to be the geographical center of the Town of Guilford. Modern technology places the center a few hundred yards south, but being that measurements were done 200+ years ago utilizing chains, not too far off. Also, the MA/VT boundary was adjusted many years ago which may explain the discrepancy. We found this to be a cool spot; please enjoy!
