Geocache Description:

More-Brewer Park in Hingham, MA is a 186 acre town reservation that was once a 19th century farm known as the Brewer Great Hill estate.

The pastures have reverted to forest and wetlands, but there is still evidence of the bygone farm.  From the trailhead on Hobart Street, an easy 0.4 mile walk on wide trails bring you to the remnants of a most enormous barn.
The 4-story structure housed livestock & draft animals as well as the farm workers' living quarters, also hay and silage storage.  All that remains is the stone foundations and access ramps, but is still an impressive sight.

The cache is not in the barn area, but just off to the side, behind a spruce tree that was just beginning to grow when the farm was in its heyday.
