I have many fond memories while growing up of highway travel with the family combined with pull-off rest stops for a quick lunch from a cooler before hitting the road again. Unfortunately picnic lunches have been replaced by fast food and the drive thru more often than not. Please enjoy the break while it lasts and your lunch if you brought it. ;)
Unfortunately the park isn't open to vehicle traffic through the winter months. During the off-season the best access to the cache is through the main gate. I'll update the cache listing with the season schedule once I know it.
