Geocache Description:


Suggested parking is at the parking lot at the corner of Lees Summit Road and East Bass Pro Drive. This is a common parking lot for people walking the paved trail to Bass Pro Shops. Permission for this cache has been granted by the Independence Park District. The coordinates are listed below: Parking Lot N 39 02.286’ W 94 23.196

For the first 50 yards from the parking lot you will be on paved trails. You will come to a mowed trail that goes off to the North, take this trail. Cache is located just off the mowed trail. Some bushwacking is required.

This cache is named in honor of my father-in-law(Kandor1234). We introduced him to goecaching and taught him everything he knows about the hunt...hahaha. Now he has found almost 100 more caches than we have! Here is what he explains Kandor1234 stands for:

Kan: we are from Kansas
dor: makes "kan" sound sci-fi and we are Star Trek fans
1: stands for God Almighty Who is number one and first in our lives
2: stands for the two of us, under God
3: stands for our three children
4: completes the perfect triangle and sums to ten which stands for our 9 grand-kids plus one
