Dam View! Traditional Cache

This spot is located near the end/beginning of the Lake Almanor Dam. In this area you can get one heck of a great view. You can see the dam, Lake Almanor, the Intake Tower and a Bald Eagles Nest perched on top of a pole. Many of you have probably seen it when driving over the dam. Right now there is two of them there. So bring your binoculars or a telephoto lens camera to hopefully get a great shot.
No need to go in the fenced in area. Just follow along the fence.
Park at the cordinates below as there is not a good place to park along the highway. This way your kids can enjoy the cache and the view too!!
Cache is a metal canister with usual trade items and log book.
FTF prize is a Buffalo Nickel and some wheat back pennies.
