Geocache Description:

A pleasant walk through the Cambridgeshire countryside along paths (including part of the Pathfinder route) near the village of Knapwell. Route can be muddy after rain.

View near the cachesite

Every cache series should have an ivy covered tree cache (or two) - and this is it.

This is series of simple(ish) caches along pleasant footpaths near the village of Knapwell around farmland and woodland. Part of the circular route is along the 46 mile Pathfinder route. The series provides lovely views of the countryside.

The short loop is about 2.5 miles long or you can lengthen it by heading towards Childerley (about 4 miles) and pick up a couple more caches.

Watch out for nettles and possibly brambles in the summer months.

The Cache

The cache is a smallish camouflaged container (slightly larger than a 35mm film canister) with a logbook and pencil. Please ensure you hide it back securely where you found it.

Stealth may be required down this path as dog walking muggles use it.

The path is fairly stroller friendly although I would suggest the rugged models only. Path can be muddy after rain.
