Chances are you may have driven past the Prosperity Oaks Natural Area several times, but (like me) never made the effort to find parking. In this tiny sliver of nature I found: a black racer mimicking a rattle by flicking his tail quickly through the leaves, many large oak trees, two marked trails leading to the gates on each side, evidence of lots of muggle foot traffic, and the lazy oak...
As you may have guessed by now, there is heavy tree cover in the area and as a result, my GPSr's accuracy and your's will suffer. Once I'd checked my maps and tried to average the coordinates I got for this cache, I realized I might want to go back out and collect some more data. However, I too was feeling lazy like my oak, so I may get there... eventually. Consider it part of the challenge. Watch your step. BYOP, this cache, like this natural area, is tiny and tucked away just out of reach.
