Eastern Most Point DC Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

SirCrab: After more carefully reviewing the logs I see that I had disabled this cache back on 11/8/17 for lack of maintenance and see the CO chose the note in the cache description as the maintenance and re-enabled . Since then there has still been no container placed, so I am archiving this listing.

If the CO chooses to place another container within the next couple of months, the cache can be unarchived as long as it still meets Groundspeak guidelines at the time.

Geocache Description:

The most extreme eastern point you can get too in DC. Also located at a significant benchmark for DC. One of the Border stones placed to establish a Federal District for our Federal government.

Note: the Googles Maps dashed line is not accurate. The corner stone is clearly the Eastern Most point. This is a short walk from the Capital Heights Metrorail station. For the moment the the stone is the cache. Please post a picture of the stone as a log. Hoping to visit and place a container soon.
