Le fort se situe sur la commune de Concarneau à la pointe du Cabellou

Garez vous au point N 47°51.384 W 003°55.080 Le fort fut construit

au 18e siècle par Vauban. Cette enceinte protégeait la baie de

Concarneau de la pointe de la Jument à la pointe de Beg meil. Plein

sud, vous apercevez les îles Glenan.
