Placed in honor of our first day out hunting as a family. This was the first time ever for Jim and the kids. We planned to name the cache after whoever bagged the first deer but alas no luck this year. This cache is the only thing we bagged today.
Cache is a uniquely camoed 35mm film canister to go with the theme of the cache. Hope you like it. When you find it just take the lid off don't remove the whole cache from the host container. This cache was hidden several months ago on the day we went hunting in the place we were standing. However, I was frozen and when I placed the cache in its hidey hole I thought it fell in too far. I was too cold and shivering at the time and figured I'd come back but the weather had other ideas. So I went back out with a more unique container now and was about to publish when Fetch & Getit beat me to it and published their "Beyond The Towering Meadow GC26796". If you haven't found that one yet you can get 2 in 1 trip! I was hoping it was far enough away but no luck. It was short by 6 ft. So after relocating it here it is! Hope you like it. Stay on the trail until you get close. Hike in about .32mi before leaving the trail. There are lots of pickers and rocks so be careful once you leave the trail. Took average of 30 points.
