Geocache Description:

This is our first Cache which is named after our son Big Al. who loves going to Alexandra Park.

The cache is a few feet from a tarmac path but due to some changes in slope of the paths, it may not be suitable for lone wheelchair users.

Free parking can be found on Alexandra Road (N50.43.645 W001.55.853) or Palmerston Road for a cache and dash of approx 500ft.
This park is also a nice place for a short stroll.

The cache is a small size camoflaged clip-lock box with room for very small swaps and travel bugs/coins and was originally stocked with new items costing around £1.00 and first to find badge.
Please feel free to take an item but please leave something of a similar value.

You may want to wear gloves or protect hands from possible splinters.

Stealth will be required for this cache as dog walker muggles can approach from two directions.

Alexandra Park's play equipment was updated in summer 2010 with £60,000 of new equipment and includes a zip wire and a rebound wall, this has been funded by the government’s £1 million Playbuilder scheme.

This cache was placed with the kind permission of Poole Borough Council.
