Due to my advancing age, I (and my doctor) am concerned about the possibility of my experiencing a medical situation while on the road to Maintain one or more of my 120 GC Geocaches and 50 GCA Geocaches.
If you live near this Geocache, or regularly travel near it, you might be interested in Adopting this Geocache (or more of mine). Please let me (WanderingAus) know by Message at
Geocaching Message Center
if you are interested, including the cache code or codes
(e.g GC276TD for this cache).
Due to the temporary nature of pens and pencils in my geocaches
BRING YOUR OWN WRITING IMPLEMENT!!!
I took the new geoPajero to Welshpool to have a duel battery system, set of draws, and PolyAir suspension installed, and for the first time in about 9 years caught a train to start my journey home. The train in question was bound for Thornlie Station, and the previous week, while the new geoPajero was at Welshpool having a bullbar/winch bar installed, I had caught the bus home. The bus had passed through Thornlie Station, so I figured on saving about an hour and about a Kilometre of walking by doing the train-bus method this time.
To mark the occasion of my first real visit to Thornlie Station, I decided to place a cache there, so I returned after dark and popped one in place.
There is always a chance you could claim a find of Rodgie Dodgie! by Team_Ninja near here, but remember Passenger Trains do not count for that cache.
The cache is not at the above co-ords but it is where you will find some information which will assist you to locate GZ. You are looking for a plaque attached to a powerful piece of infrastructure. The bottom line of that plaque comprises 11 characters, 5 are letters of the alphabet and 6 are numeric digits. Ignore the letters of the alphabet, and assign the numeric digits as ABCDEF.
The cache can be found at S32°02.(C+D)F(A+D) E115°57.B(D+E)(A+E).
This cache is a magnetic nano about 10mm tall by 8mm diameter, containing only a log book, just like almost all caches placed by Zodiakhorizon.
Please conceal it as and where found, and be aware of possible overview from the bridge nearby.
Please, no hints, no spoilers, no veiled references.
