Curse of the FTF Nottinghamshire # 8- Bramcote Pit Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

RoPeHe: I went to check on the cache today. There has been some clearance in the area, but the cache location is still intact [:)], Unfortunately, the cache container wasn't there [:(]. As this is the second time that the cache has disappeared, I'm going to archive the cache rather than replace it. Thanks to all who visited [:)]

Geocache Description:

A straightforward cache close to an open area on the site of Bramcote Pit (aka Trowell Moor Colliery).

This cache continues the Curse of the FTF Nottinghamshire series:
GC20Q25 #1 - Osberton
GC21D2X #2 - The Troll
GC223A5 #3 - The Junction
GC236PT #4 - AMMO
GC24190 # 5 - City View
GC2494G # 6 - Green's Mill
GC251J0 # 7 - Gym'll Fix It

The cache is a small clip and lock box.

The cache is placed just off the Robin Hood way, which is popular with dog walkers, joggers and cyclists. It can also be approached from various other paths, including the Nottingham Canal towpath.

The rules of Curse of the FTF Nottinghamshire are really simple:
1. Whoever finds the cache first is encouraged to place the next cache in the series (The Curse of the FTF Nottinghamshire #9) within 1 month. Otherwise the curse might prevent you from ever getting another FTF again.
2. It is asked that you only be a FTF for this series once. This is to give others a chance to be the FTF.
3. Cache can be any type of cache (Puzzle, Multi etc).

By way of clarification, there is no requirement besides the standard signing of the cache log to prevent you from logging this cache when found. Everyone should log their finds, and hopefully the FTF person will play along and place another cache, but it is in no way a requirement for logging your find.
